With this in mind, we have developed a set of steps that will take us from getting to know you through to regular post-implementation check-ins. Our expert team will project manage, provide information and marketing materials to inform your people, and provide advice and support to embed and optimize the capability of the SkillSat tool. Engaging with your business to help us understand what is key to ensuring that the implementation of Skillsat is successful. To achieve this we will meet with you to: 

  • Learn about your business 
  • Identify how Skillsat will add value to your people processes 
  • Explore what systems will interact with Skillsat 
  • Share demonstrations of how Skillsat operates.
  • Data confidentiality  
  • Agree and scope a detailed implementation plan  
  • Deliver a communication pack to inform ad engage your people. 
  • Agree on what reporting, including dashboards, will benefit your business 

…getting started.

Following the implementation of Skillsat and successful testing, your people will be invited to build their individual profiles. We believe that the system is intuitive, however, hints and tips on how to build an effective profile will be available.  

Typically key information such as name, role, and job title will be prepopulated whilst skills, knowledge, experience, etc. can be added according to individual preference. 

The individual profiles will be saved and will adhere to data safety and GDPR protocols. However, profiles can be updated should updates or changes be required. Prepopulated information will update automatically. 

All people in scope will be able to access profiles and begin to use the system immediately.

The Skillsat system will hold a wide range of data that can support your people team or designated individuals in optimizing the potential of the workforce. This is achieved through identifying the wide range of knowledge, skills, experience, and much more through being able to interrogate the Skillsat system. Depending on the data gathered we will support you to report on: 

  • Specific skills, knowledge, and experience to resource projects or specific roles. 
  • Identify an individual’s contacts, or their desire to work in alternative locations. 

Our team will ensure that anyone in the business who is reporting on the data will receive advice and support to use the Skillsat system efficiently. 

…regular updates to ensure that data remains current and relevant.

The prepopulated data that feeds from your preferred people/HR system will update automatically. However, to make sure that all other data held is up to date we will agree and plan campaigns to invite your people to revisit their profiles and revise accordingly.  

In addition to the four stages outlined we have a helpline for technical or advise on how to use the system effectively. In addition, we will be in touch regularly to ensure that Skillsat is supporting your business effectively and efficiently.
